With over 50 years in the wastewater industry, Mike Sjostrom has dedicated his career to excellence, beginning at just 22 years old. Following in the footsteps of his father, who worked in fiberglass, Mike has developed a deep expertise and passion for this field. At National Water Treatment Products, Mike’s goal is to position the company as a leader, taking on every project with a commitment to ‘win’ and see it through to successful completion.

An avid fan of Ohio State and Cleveland’s pro teams, Mike also brings his competitive spirit to his personal life. Married to his wife, Valerie, for 21 years, they cherish time with their three granddaughters who keep them on their toes. Mike’s love for cooking has turned into a tradition, from catering his daughter’s wedding for 250 guests to hosting an annual Fourth of July picnic—complete with a fireworks show—that’s been going strong for 15 years.
