Director of Operations, National Manufacturing Group

Mike Bever

As Director of Operations at National Manufacturing Group, Mike ensures that every aspect of the business runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably in support of the company’s mission. With 16 years of experience in the composites manufacturing industry, Mike has built his career from the ground up — advancing from the shop floor into the Tooling Department and later into Production and Design Engineering. His deep, hands-on operational knowledge is a critical asset in all tooling and production-related decision-making.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and takes pride in combining technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive innovation and performance across teams. He is passionate about leveraging shared best practices and external resources to continuously improve operations and efficiency. One of his current goals is to help National Manufacturing Group exceed its record annual sales by achieving over $11 million in revenue.

A native of Racine, Wisconsin, Mike still calls the area home. Outside of work, he enjoys a wide variety of hobbies — from playing drums and guitar to waterskiing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and longtime homebrewer, Mike brings the same dedication and creativity to his personal passions as he does to his professional work.

A proud fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, Mike can often be found on the golf course or out on the water with friends and family when he’s not training in Jiu-Jitsu. If he weren’t in manufacturing, he says he’d probably be in graphic design — a nod to his artistic side, which shows in his knack for problem-solving and precision.

Mike credits Dale Rogers and Doug Kowalski as key mentors in his career — Dale for offering the opportunity to transition into engineering, and Doug for sharing invaluable knowledge and expertise in tooling. Both inspired Mike’s drive for excellence and continuous learning.
