Eric Rygaard

Eric Rygaard is the Plant Manager at National Manufacturing Group – Joplin.  With a career that began in 2004, Eric has consistently demonstrated his expertise and commitment to excellence in various pivotal roles and is known for his extensive experience and dynamic leadership in the manufacturing industry.  Before joining NMG, Eric made significant contributions as the Director of Manufacturing at IMI Industrial, and also showcased his skills at Ernest-Spencer Metals and Indiana Composites. These roles have given him a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing sector, from operational management to technical intricacies.

An alumnus of Pittsburg State University in Kansas, Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Technical Education, with specializations in Welding, Safety, and Quality, as well as an Educator Certification. His academic background underpins his professional approach, blending technical proficiency with effective educational methodologies. Based in Topeka, Kansas, Eric possesses a diverse skill set that encompasses Manufacturing Engineering, Machine Tools, Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations Management, Continuous Improvement, Purchasing, Plastics, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis. His ability to apply these skills practically has repeatedly led to improved processes and operational efficiencies in his roles.
