Materials Manager
Ray Eisen

With over 35 years in manufacturing, Ray Eisen knows his way around the warehouse—and then some. As Materials Manager at National Manufacturing Group, Ray oversees purchasing, inventory management, vendor negotiations, and cost tracking with an eye for detail and a commitment to keeping things organized and efficient. His goal? Streamlined operations, smarter spending, and less chaos when it comes to materials.
Before joining National, Ray spent 22 years in the lithographic printing plate industry, producing plates for the newspaper market. His background includes purchasing, shipping, receiving, production management, and even HR and payroll, making him one of those rare utility players who’s done just about everything—and done it well.
Originally from West Michigan near Grand Haven, Ray now lives in Mason, just south of Lansing. When he’s not in the warehouse, you’ll probably find him building something in his shop, hitting the trails in his ATV or UTV, or camping with his family. He’s especially proud of his woodworking skills and ability to remodel or build with minimal cost—craftsmanship runs deep in this guy.
Ray and his wife have six kids and a growing crew of grandkids who keep things lively. Weekends are for family, friends, and the outdoors—and on Sundays, you’ll probably catch him cheering on the Detroit Lions with a cup of coffee in hand.
If he weren’t in manufacturing, Ray says he would have gone into architecture or the building trades. But with a track record like his, it’s clear he’s right where he’s meant to be—keeping the materials side of National Manufacturing Group running like a well-oiled machine.
