As Purchasing Manager at J.M. Hutton & Co., Inc., Kevin Burkart is responsible for managing procurement operations, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiency across the organization. With more than 20 years of experience spanning both manufacturing and service industries, Kevin brings a deep and diverse background shaped by work across aerospace, automotive, agriculture, heavy equipment, fire life safety, and corrugated packaging.

Kevin’s core strength lies in identifying and executing cost-saving initiatives. From supplier sourcing and competitive bidding to long-term agreements, total cost of ownership reduction, and performance-based vendor strategies, he consistently delivers measurable improvements that strengthen operational performance. His experience traveling to manufacturing facilities across the country to audit and improve purchasing and inventory systems has given him a broad perspective and a results-driven approach.

At National Manufacturing Group, Kevin values the trust placed in him to take action and drive meaningful change within his facility. He is focused on continued growth and leveraging his leadership experience to create opportunities across the broader organization.

Originally from Peoria Heights, Illinois, Kevin now resides in Greenfield, Indiana. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, whether camping, fishing, or hiking. He also runs a car detailing business, turning a personal passion into a growing side venture. Kevin shares his home with his English Pointer, Stark, a laid-back companion who prefers relaxing to high-energy activity.

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified through Purdue University. Known for his discipline and determination, he is especially proud of a recent personal milestone—losing 100 pounds over the past two years.
